Nir Zlochover

Biography

Nir Zlochover joins us through Island Bodyworks as our Therapy Consultant, supporting owners, guests, and crew with advanced therapeutic bodywork and tailored pain-management programmes. With more than 24 years of experience across medical massage, sports therapy, and complex body-mechanics assessment, Nir brings a highly diagnostic and corrective approach that aligns closely with Mainstay's commitment to client wellbeing and operational excellence.

Trained in New York in medical and sports massage, Nir developed a technical, analytical method for identifying how structural imbalances and movement patterns create chronic pain, restricted mobility, or recurring injury. His treatment style blends firm, targeted pressure with gentle, restorative work, integrating massage, bodywork, and sports-therapy principles to create long-lasting functional improvement rather than temporary relief.

Nir practiced extensively in the British Virgin Islands from 2006-2017 before refining his clinical methods during several years in England. Now returned to the Territory, he provides Mainstay clients with premium out-call service through Island Bodyworkd, offering fully mobile treatment setups for yachts, villas, and remote locations. His role includes not only delivering therapy personally, but also advising on and designing onboard therapeutic programmes to support long-term crew health, guest comfort, and owner wellbeing.

Nir's addition strengthens Mainstay's holistic service offering by ensuring that the individuals who operate, manage, and enjoy our vessels have access to high-level therapeutic support integrated seamlessly into yacht operations, charters, and private programmes.
